New York Times best-selling author Ann Hood recently paid a visit to fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students at NewGate School.
The author of “The Red Thread” and “The Knitting Circle” discussed the inspiration behind her books, especially her newest children’s series, “The Treasure Chest.”
Hood read from the series’ first book and talked about her writing process. She encouraged the students to explore writing, explaining that she, too, struggles from time in creating her stories.
