The Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key is seeking nominations for its annual “Citizen of the Year” award.
The award will be presented at the Longboat Key Kiwanis Foundation’s Third Annual Valentine’s Ball Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Longboat Key Club and Resort’s Harbourside Dining Room.
Submit your nominee’s name and a summary of why the individual should be considered by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20 to Kiwanis Club Secretary John Wild at HIZZONER1947@yahoo.com or to P.O. Box 8097, Longboat Key, Fla. 34228 . Tickets to the event will be $95 per person or 10 at $1,000. Proceeds benefit the Kiwanis Club Foundation’s local scholarship fund. Tickets are partially tax deductable.
