Longboat Key is in the final phase of connecting water services of side streets, condominiums and area businesses to the new pipeline for its upsizing project, according to a release issued by the Public Works Department.
To accomplish that task, water service interruptions will be needed through September.
Residents affected by the scheduled water shut-off will receive detailed information and instructions on their front doors in advance of the interruption. Precautionary boil notices also will be required immediately following the connections.
Water service interruptions include, but are not limited to, the following streets in the next month:
Spinnaker Lane, Outrigger Lane, Hornblower Lane, Gunwale Lane, Channel Lane, Sailboat Square, Boathouse Restaurant Plaza, Schooner Lane, Ketch Lane, Sloop Lane, Bay Harbour, Tangerine Bay, Northern Trust Bank, Cutter Lane, Yawl Lane, Beachplace, Ranger Lane and Halyard Lane.
Residents who have questions about the water shut-offs should call the Public Works Department at 316-1988.
