Intermittent lane closures began Tuesday, July 21 along Gulf of Mexico Drive between North Shore Drive and the north end of the Longboat Pass Bridge.
The lane closures will occur between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and are expected to last for the next two to three weeks while concrete flumes, a sidewalk, curb and gutter are installed.
Any questions regarding the project can be directed to Darren Alfonso, the public information director for the Florida Department of Transportation’s Gulf of Mexico Drive enhancement project. Alfonso can be reached at 813-767-9532 or Darren@valerin-group.com.
