Registration is now open for the Longboat Key, Lido Key, St. Armands Key Chamber of Commerce 22nd annual Amateur Golf Tournament.
The tournament will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the Longboat Key Club and Resort Islandside Golf Course, 301 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
Last year’s golf tournament drew 18 teams of four, despite being rescheduled due to rain.
Cost is $125 per single golfer and $400 per foursome. Cost includes green fees, golf cart, range balls, beverages on the course and a banquet dinner. Non-golfers can attend the banquet dinner for $35. Names of players and handicaps must be submitted by May 21.

A fitting tribute
A day after receiving an Ageless Creativity Award from the Ringling College/Longboat Key Center for the Arts in honor of their late father, Ed Brickman, daughter Carol Diamant and son Eli Brickman held a celebration of life service Saturday.
Alma mater honors Harold Ronson
Philadelphia University presented Longboat Key resident Harold Ronson with its “Leadership in Philanthropy” award Oct. 11, at its Homecoming Dinner Dance.
