The deadline to submit nominations for the Longboat Key, Lido Key, St. Armands Key Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Small Business of the Year is 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 30. Categories are Rookie of the Year, Small business 10 or fewer employees and Small Business 11 or more employees. Businesses can nominate themselves or a fellow business.
Last year’s winners were The Translation Link, Rookie of the Year; Barefoot Weddings, Small Business 10 or fewer employees; and Miller Electric, Small Business 11 or more employees.
Letters and applications will be mailed out to all nominated businesses the first week of April. The LLSA Chamber’s Small Business Council will determine the winners, which will be announced at the Small Business Awards Breakfast Thursday, June 10.
