Grand Bay tastes sweet success

April 9, 2010

As usual, the Taste of Grand Bay, held April 9, was an outstanding culinary success. More than 30 residents prepared their favorite dishes to share, and there was a wide variety. Choices ranged from Gorgonzola crostini to baked chicken salad, pâte à choux puffs and honey chicken wings — and that was only for starters. The dessert tables featured Kentucky Derby pie, Ghirardelli chocolate mousse, seven-layer bars and glazed apple cake — to name a few. Grand Bay residents Kenny Soderblom and his wife, Leah, provided the entertainment for the evening.
