One little, two little, three little aliens; four little, five little, six little astronauts …
It’s Friday, July 20, and Temple Gan preschoolers — some in oh-so-stylish handmade tinfoil alien antennas and others cloaked in astronaut suits — are parading in and out of classrooms and striding across campus.
The Gan kicked off its first session of camp, “Under the Sea,” with a visit from Mote Marine Laboratory and its mascot, Gilly the Shark. A scuba diver and boat captain made a surprise visit. During the second session, “Mother Earth,” the children learned about our planet, how to take good care of it and participated in some recycling projects.
In the latest session, “Outer Space,” the children tapped into the exciting world of space. G.WIZ staff will even be stopping by for a “planetary shuffle.”
