The Longbeach Village artists gathered April 9, at Bradenton Country Club, for their end of season luncheon.
Temple Beth Israel Barbecue.
The Men’s Club of Temple Beth Israel held its closing barbecue April 6, at the Bay Isles Beach Club. More than 70 temple members attended and dined on hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken, all of which they grilled on-site. Judy Goldstein and Russel Kennedy provided the music, but attendees were invited to come up to the mic and sing, as well.

Mar Vista dollars to benefit local teen
Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub’s walls and ceiling are covered with dollar bills, signed and decorated by patrons. Every few years the restaurant removes the bills for a good cause.
