The Longbeach Village artists gathered April 9, at Bradenton Country Club, for their end of season luncheon.
Temple Beth Israel Barbecue.
The Men’s Club of Temple Beth Israel held its closing barbecue April 6, at the Bay Isles Beach Club. More than 70 temple members attended and dined on hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken, all of which they grilled on-site. Judy Goldstein and Russel Kennedy provided the music, but attendees were invited to come up to the mic and sing, as well.

Longboat Key resident Arlene McKitrick celebrated her 200th golf championship win this week at Sara Bay Country Club in an FSGA event.

Mote Marine Laboratory recently received a $99,615 grand for its dolphin and whale rehabilitation efforts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
