Candidates for the Longboat Key Town Commission made final campaign appearances by speaking at the March 12 meeting of the Republican Club of Longboat Key, held at the Chart House. Making individual presentations were District 1 incumbent Mayor Lee Rothenberg and challenger Lynn Larson; District 3 incumbent Commissioner Peter O’Connor and challenger David Brenner; and at-large challenger Phil Younger. At-large incumbent Commissioner Hal Lenobel was not present.
The candidates took questions from the audience following their presentation.
