More than 250 people played in this year’s Longboat Key Senior Clay Court Tournament at the Longboat Key Public Tennis Center. The tournament was scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 6, but was extended into Monday, Dec. 7, due to rain.
The event, which was a CAT II National Tournament, featured senior men and women in the 55s, 60s, 65s, 70s, 75s and 80s divisions in singles and doubles matches.

Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub’s walls and ceiling are covered with dollar bills, signed and decorated by patrons. Every few years the restaurant removes the bills for a good cause.
