+ Longboat Body Retreat opens in Whitney Plaza
Longboat Body Retreat opened Tuesday, July 21, at 6824 Gulf of Mexico Drive, the site of the former Longboat Framing Gallery in Whitney Beach Plaza.
Owners are Bradenton resident Georgene Adkins and Anna Maria resident Jennifer Crady. Prior to earning aesthetician licenses, Adkins worked as a dental assistant, and Crady was a massage therapist.
The spa will offer facials, massages, body treatments, permanent makeup and waxing. Yoga classes will also be offered at a later date.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
