+ Tasti D-Lite to open
St. Armands location
Longboat Key residents Irwin and Sylvia Pastor will open two Tasti D-Lite locations in Sarasota. The first shop will open Thursday, May 14, at the Westfield Southgate Shopping Center, 2501 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. The second shop location will open in late May, at 327A St. Armands Circle.

+ Key Club adds wellness services
The Longboat Key Club and Resort recently added two, new membership benefits in partnership with Charles Nechtem Associates Inc.
On Friday, May 1, the Longboat Key Club Care Line went “live” for all members, providing professional counseling services for members 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Charles Nechtem, a Longboat Key resident, also began a series of seminars, the first of which was held Monday, May 4, and focused on various topics related to life and its challenges.

+ Blue Dolphin adds to menu
Blue Dolphin Café recently added two, new dishes to its menu of breakfast-and-lunch selections. Traditional Eggs Benedict served with home fries and fresh fruit is a new addition, priced at $11.95. Also new is the turkey burger, a ground-turkey patty served with lettuce, tomato and onion on a Kaiser roll for $8.95.
The restaurant also has a redesigned menu listing the new selections with the old items.
