The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be repairing the northbound lane of Gulf of Mexico Drive just south of Bay Isles Parkway tonight.
There will be temporary lane closures and nighttime work between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Repairs are being made as soon as is possible, according to FDOT spokesperson Darren Alfonso, to minimize the impact to the community.
The paving operation, which includes smoothing out sections of the road, is only anticipated to last for one night.
