The Observer Group Inc. has its game face on this weekend.
That’s because this weekend is the three-day Observer Challenge, which takes place Friday through Sunday at Longboat Key Public Tennis Center, 590 Bay Isles Road, and the Observer Cup 2010/11 Greater Sarasota 2-Player Golf Tour, which takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Longboat Key Club and Resort Islandside Golf Course.
Spectators are invited to watch the Observer Challenge, which reached maximum registration of 160 players.
Registration remains open for the Observer Cup tournament at thebeksgroup.com/observer-cup. Options are “Play & Dine” for the single tournament for $125; “Dine Only” for $45; or “4-Round Cup Player” for golfers playing in all for Observer Cup tournaments for $450.
