A tempting raffle offers a one in 400 chance to win a 2013 Ford Fusion or $10,000 cash. Even if you don’t win the grand prize, proceeds help students through the Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Foundation. Last year’s event raised close to $50,000, inspiring the Club to aim even higher this year with a $75,000 goal.
Guests will be treated to samplings of 30 local restaurants along with beverages provided by Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, Sysco, Premier Beverage, Coca-Cola and Southern Wine & Spirits.
The celebration is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Longboat Key Club’s Islandside Driving Range. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the gate is also for a good cause.
