Winemakers from across the country will gather this weekend to celebrate the arts, culinary delights and vintages from more than 30 vintners from across the globe at “Bacchus on the Beach.”
The grand finale of the two-day event is the Stone Crab Celebration & Winemaker Auction from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, on the beach at the Longboat Key Club and Resort.
The event benefits the Longboat Key Center for the Arts, a Division of Ringling College of Art and Design, and the Child Protection Center Inc.
The event highlights Key Club chefs as they showcase local Florida cuisine, including plenty of stone crab. Guest vintners will share selections from their cellars while partygoers enjoy live music and plein-air artwork created onsite courtesy of the Arts Center.
Tickets are $200 plus tax and gratuity.
