• Both the gas station and Whitney Plaza far excede Florida Statutes for blighted property. The town cannot legally seize the property under Florida laws, but they can most likely condemn and level the blighed buildings that are negatively affecting surrounding real estate values and sales. How can this commission continue to coddle these property owners that are causing such economic hardship on the rest of the taxpayers, year after year?
