Longboaters are being urged to attend a free insurance meeting in Bradenton next month that could teach them how to lower their home insurance premiums.
Town Hall has posted notices of the meeting in various locations to alert Longboat Key residents about the meeting.
Manatee County’s Building and Development Services Department is hosting the “Save Money on Your Home Insurance” meeting 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 at the South Manatee Branch Library, 6081 26th St. W., Bradenton.
The free meeting will teach homeowners how to save money on their home insurance policies by taking advantage of wind mitigation issues that can offer them insurance credits.
