Last week, The Longboat Observer looked back on the first 25 years of the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort’s history. This week, we highlight 1995 to 2010. Although the Colony’s future remains uncertain, the Klauber family, 41-year Colony owners, hope that its past will be preserved, possibly in a room dedicated to its history.
“We think it’s a historic place,” said longtime Colony General Manager and President Katie Klauber Moulton.
