Marvin Donalds, 87, of Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J., and Longboat Key, died Sept. 11.
Born June 14, 1923, in Staten Island, N.Y., he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Donalds played professional basketball in New York before starting his business career, during which he owned and operated manufacturing companies in New Jersey, Florida and Haiti.
Mr. Donalds was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Tracy; twin daughters Randy and Stacy; son, Scott; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A service took place in Wyckoff, N.J.
