Marvin Apple, 84, of Pittsburgh and Longboat Key, died Aug. 31.
He was born Aug. 27, 1926, in Kittanning, Pa.
Mr. Apple is survived by his wife, Natalie; sons James, of Pittsburgh, Thomas, of Scarsdale, N.Y., and Richard, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and 10 grandchildren.
A service was held at Ralph Schugar Chapel Inc. in Pittsburgh. Interment took place at West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation in Pittsburgh. Memorial contributions can be made to Forbes Hospice, 4800 Friendship Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15224, or United Jewish Federation, 234 McKee Place, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15213, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
