Former commissioner and Longbeach Village resident Gene Jaleski has formed a new website to encourage discussion about the island’s revitalization.
Called www.lbkalive.com, Jaleski said the website “is devoted to a discussion of rejuvenating our community and coming up to speed in the many areas of our community that have been allowed to languish and fall behind over the years.”
In the coming months, Jaleski will be seeking input from all facets of our community to draw upon the knowledge and wisdom of residents toward a better understanding the island's current state and a way to progress in the future.
Jaleski encourages everyone to visit the site, leave comments and engage in discussions with other residents.
