Once again, it’s official: Casa Del Mar is home to the world’s tallest cotton plant.
Longboat Key Fire Rescue officials measured the plant this morning and found it to be 31 feet, 7 inches tall, earning Casa Del Mar its fifth spot in the “Guinness Book of World Records.” Another plant on the property set three previous records before it died, and the current record-holding plant set a record last October.
