- Who is running the show, the Club or Longboat Key? The Florida State Attorneys office may help!
- Okay, this is very confusing, but what I am getting is the Town saying to the Key Club, you can build what we want you to build, but even after you pay all the fees related to the actual building process, you owe us $4 million for allowing you to do so. . . if I were the Club I would say Thanks but no Thanks, see you. . .
- This process should go down as the "most botched" in local government history. The entire process is flawed beyind anyone's wildest comprehension. Monica Simpson should be shown the door as well as the Town Attorney who may now have credentials as a land use expert . "EXTORTION" of $4 million is just unspeakable. If anything, this entire process should be reviewed by the Florida State Attorney's office.
A "fair fight"? Far from that when the deck is stacked. This is a "train wreck" that never was on a track!
