A waterfront home on Bird Key in Sarasota sold for $4 million, the largest residential sale in that neighborhood since July.
The sale closed May 23, according to a release from Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, which represented the buyer. The 5,352-square-foot home, on 619 Mourning Dove Drive, has panoramic views of the bay and the city. It has four bedrooms, 6.5-baths and was recently upgraded with an intricate paved driveway, forged-steel doors, hurricane code windows and glass sliders, according to the release. The home has a heated pool and spa, extended dock and two Jet Ski lifts, in addition to a wine cellar, bar and three-car garage.
Premier Sotheby’s International Realty sales associate Roberta Tengerdy represented the buyer. Roger Pettingell, of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, represented the seller.
