OBITUARY: Margaret Brooks 'Peggy Goodrich' Annett

Margaret Brooks Annett, known as Peggy Goodrich, 66, of Longboat Key, died April 26.
Born July 4, 1943, in Short Hills, N.J., she graduated from Cazenovia College, in Cazenovia, N.Y., and Finch College, in New York City. She moved to Longboat Key from Stamford, Conn., in 1977.
Mrs. Goodrich was a member of Longboat Island Chapel, Longboat Key Turtle Watch, Longboat Key Garden Club, River Run Ladies Golf League, Suncoast Yacht Club, Mote Marine Laboratory, Brotherhood of the Coast and the Longboat Key Volunteer Fire Department.
Mrs. Goodrich is survived by her husband, Jack; stepson, John Goodrich III, of San Diego; stepdaughter, Johanna Goetcheus, of Kensington, Md., brothers Charles Annett, of Newtown, Conn., and John Annett, of Poolesville, Md., eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and faithful dog, Sailor.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Longboat Island Chapel.
