Volunteers are needed for the 2010 Sarasota Open, which will take place Saturday, May 8, through Saturday, May 15, at the Longboat Key Club and Resort’s Tennis Gardens facility.
Volunteers are needed to serve as ball persons and in security, transportation, ticketing and parking lot positions. A training session will take place at 1 p.m. for volunteers and 2 p.m. for ball persons Sunday, May 2. Volunteers receive free entry when they are working and two tickets for family members for Monday, May 10, and Wednesday, May 12, along with food and beverages at no charge during their shifts.
