+ Leslie Joyce joins Coldwell LBK office
Leslie Joyce has joined Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Longboat Key office as a sales associate.
Prior to her move in 2009 to Sarasota, Joyce was a costumer in the film industry and worked with celebrities such as Bob Hope, Joan Collins, Sylvester Stallone, Tom Hanks and Keanu Reeves, according to a prepared statement. In 1997, she became Harrison Ford’s personal costumer.
Locally, Joyce worked with Mikhail Baryshnikov in 2012, when he danced at the 2012 Ringling International Arts Festival. She was also prop master for the Sarasota Opera for the past three seasons and also has worked with the Sarasota Ballet, Asolo Repertory Theatre and Florida Studio Theatre.
Joyce was a sales associate from 1997 to 2001 at Coldwell Banker, in Los Angeles, before launching Area 39, an advertising, design and communications agency.
+ MaryElizabeth Ameal joins MS&Co.
MaryElizabeth Ameal has joined the St. Armands Circle office of Michael Saunders & Co. She will work with her mother, Peggy Mock, a Sarasota Realtor of 32 years.
Ameal moved in 1980 to Sarasota and went on to train in ballet at the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, in Torrington, Conn., at age 16, before dancing professionally for ballet companies locally and in the Washington, D.C., area.
After returning to Sarasota, Ameal became artistic/executive director of the Florida Ballet Arts Academy and the Florida Ballet Arts Ensemble.
