The Longboat Key Club and Resort began removing planters today near the Islandside golf course.
According to David Leach, director of project management at the Key Club, growing plants within the structures has been difficult, so the Key Club will install planting beds in their place over the next few days.
“It’s just an upgrade of the landscaping,” Leach said.
