The Longboat Key Town Commission will hold a special meeting to discuss the state of the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 at Town Hall.
Town Manager Dave Bullock informed commissioners in an April 8 email of the meeting and announced two commissioners will be using Skype technology to attend the meeting from afar.
In order to establish commission policy regarding meeting attendance and participation via electronic technology, a resolution will be placed on the April 15 regular workshop agenda for discussion.
Commissioner Jack Duncan requested a Colony meeting at the commission’s Monday, April 1 regular meeting to discuss the myriad of issues the town has with the resort in order to provide clarity moving forward.
