The Diamonds You Are, a nonprofit organization that benefits young people, is kicking off its new initiative to bring smiles to children at homeless shelters by celebrating their birthday.
To celebrate the new project, the organization will hold a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, at Re Federico, 15 Ave. of the Flowers. Special dishes will be prepared for the event, and diners can watch fresh mozzarella being prepared for the lunch.
Attendees can donate gifts for children’s birthday parties such as wrapping paper, new toys, gift cards, wrapped candy and more. Contact Re Federico at 383-1333 and The Diamonds You Are at 870-4300.
