Longboat Key could soon get an injection of new condominium inventory.
Michael Saunders & Co. announced the new 11-unit Infinity, Longboat Key condominium project at 4765 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
Originally planned for the location was the 11-unit Bleu Claire condominium project, which was unveiled in 2007 but was put on hold because of the economic downturn.
“Basically, it’s the same building footprint, but the design element of it has been modified slightly to reflect a more contemporary look,” said Randy Moore, managing partner of developer Crossgate Partners LLC, of Atlanta, which was the original developer of the Bleu Claire project.
Michael Saunders & Co.’s New Homes & Condominium Division is handling sales of the units. Nell Leffel, of the company’s Siesta Key office, is the sales associate.
The project consists of nine three-to-four-bedroom units and two penthouse units that range from $2,825,000 to $4.95 million.
Floor plans will range from 3,380 square feet to 5,456 square feet.
Sarasota architect Mark Sultana, of DSDG Architects, is the designer.
The project will be the first new condominium construction on the Key in nearly seven years.
