This weekend, why not take some steps to improve your longevity?
Aging in Paradise, a resource center that helps seniors with age-related transitions, hosts a health fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 9, at the Longboat Island Chapel, 6200 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
The event will include blood pressure screenings, eye and ear exams, a Bloodmobile for donations, and the Longboat Key Fire Department, which will have paramedics on site, providing educational materials.
