Country Club Shores entrance to close next week
Date: March 8, 2010
by: Kurt Schultheis | City Editor
The town of Longboat Key will be closing the Country Club Shores Unit V Wedge Lane entrance in the vicinity of the 1200 block of Gulf of Mexico Drive starting next week.
The town’s Public Works Department, which is conducting potable waterline improvements along Gulf of Mexico Drive, needs to shut the entrance down for two to three days beginning March 15.
The work requires the temporary closure and traffic detour of the entrance.
Residents should use the Country Club Shores Unit IV entrances at Yardarm Lane and Ranger Lane during the temporary closure.
Additional information and updates on the project can be found at www.longboatkey.org.
For questions about the traffic detour or the water pipeline project, contact the Longboat Key Public Works Department at 316-1988.
