The Zoning Board of Adjustment voted 4-0 to approve a request from the Pierre Condominium Association to expand two tennis courts to the east by five feet.
Town staff recommended approval of the request, which required a departure to expand into the required street yard.
“This actually has been granted a few other times, including for the town itself,” said Senior Town Planner Steve Schield at the Feb. 13 ZBA meeting.
Schield said that the plan was not likely to impact neighbors of the Pierre.
Tim McGough, a member of the Pierre’s board of directions, said the project would start in May and take approximately four weeks to complete.
