Elaine Seigle Gruber, 89, of Chicago and formerly of Longboat Key, died Jan. 21.
Mrs. Gruber was originally from Loveland, Ohio. She lived at Whitney Beach condominium for more than 30 years. After moving to Chicago, she continued to pursue her interests in art and needlework. She played bridge several times per week and enjoyed staying in touch with her many Florida friends.
Mrs. Gruber is survived by her daughters, Diann Gruber, of Paris, and Cathy Gruber, of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
The Cremation Society of Illinois was responsible for arrangements.
