Approval dates for Islandside project scheduled

Five dates in March have been reserved by the Town Commission to be used, if needed, for second reading of an ordinance that could approve the Longboat Key Club and Resort’s Islandside renovation and expansion project.
Assistant to the Town Manager Susan Phillips advised the Town Commission in an e-mail Feb. 5 that the new list of public hearing dates are March 3, 5, 8 and 12.
This month, the Town Commission will resume theIslandside hearing 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Temple Beth Israel, 567 Bay Isles Road.
Other dates reserved this month are February 17, 19, 24, and 26.
