- The politician must have a lapse of memory about what the residence of LBK want and do not want. A community center has millions of dollars in short and long term operating and maintenance expenses, that will not generate revenue for the tax base.
We have plenty of venues to meet our friends and socialize. Our privacy and less access to the outside public is what people see in living on LBK prefer.
This would be an excellent piece of property for the town to sell to commercial developers for nice shops for our convenience.
The income from the sale of the property should be used to reduce the Town debt and lower our property taxes, since it would generate property taxes for years to come!
