Longbeach Village residents Michael and Amy Drake are collecting items to donate items to Agape Flights, a nonprofit mission in Venice. The supplies will be donated to assist earthquake victims in Haiti. The Drakes will collect items through tonight.
Medical supplies that are needed include protein drinks, first-aid supplies, Band-Aids, bandages, gauze, water-purification tablets, Neosporin, alcohol swabs, hydrogen peroxide, suture supplies, over-the-counter pain relievers and gloves. Non-medical items needed include new bedding, towels and clothing, soap, flashlights, batteries, plastic tablecloths, tarps, matches and candles.
Drop off items in a bag or box to the Drakes at 6821 Longboat Drive S.
