Terry’s Framing Gallery & Art Supplies remains open at the Centre Shops, 5360 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
Owner Terry Petesch, 62, died Nov. 27.
Currently, the store is operating on a limited schedule from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays under the management of Jessica Dirkes, owner of J.J. Arts Custom Framing in Sarasota.

Cedars Café & Tiki Bar unveiled its new menu in December.
The restaurant is now managed by Hal Christensen, who is also general manager of Harry’s Continental Kitchens. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open to Cedars members and resort guests.

Approximately 250 people hit the water Saturday, April 20 through Sunday, April 21, for Sailfest. The regatta, Sarasota Youth Sailing's biggest fundraiser of the year, included four classes of competition — Optimus, 420, Laser and Multi-hull — and a barbecue feast. -
Book club sunsets for the season

The Sunset Beach Book Club, in its 10th year, ended this season with a luncheon and discussion of the book “Gone Girl,” by Gillian Flynn, April 18, at Lazy Lobster. Discussion moderator was Ricki Carroll. Together, the group read five books this season.
