A woman was pulled over for swerving in a Dodge pickup truck on Gulf of Mexico Drive. When police told her that her driver’s license was suspended for failure to pay a traffic fine, she explained that she had taken care of that ticket over the phone.

Police pulled over a man driving a four-door, silver Jeep. The man was driving in and out of his lane, and police issued him a ticket for driving with a suspended driver’s license.

A man called police from out of town to report his wife had lost a 2-carat diamond and white-gold ring valued at $16,500 at a Longboat Key condominium. He said his wife thinks the ring may have slipped off her finger.

Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub’s walls and ceiling are covered with dollar bills, signed and decorated by patrons. Every few years the restaurant removes the bills for a good cause.
