It’s a (court) date
2:15 p.m. — Off the Key. Boat Violation. During a boat traffic stop/safety check in which police rafted alongside a boat, police made a gesture to a second boater to slow down. The driver shouted “What?!” and made a large wake into the boat police had rafted alongside. Police went after the other boater, who couldn’t produce proper registration and said he had never heard about waking other vessels. The man told police to write him a ticket and that he would see the officer in court. The officer obliged.
