Jan Van Wart, the subject of this week's Backstage Pass feature, plays a phonograph record from his massive (and impressive) collection.
Van Wart is an auditorium support specialist at State College of Florida's Neel Performing Arts Center and a freelance set designer. A hobby phonograph collector, he estimates that he's acquired more than 400 cylinder phonograph records and 2,000 disc records.
