Designing Women Boutique has donated more than $1,500,000 in merchandise and grants since its founding in 2002. Board President Carol Phillips and Grant Committee Chair Joan Wood presented a check Monday, April 15, for $52,000 to Asolo Repertory Theatre’s Board of Directors. The group also announced other grant recipients.
2012’s recipients include the following: Girls Inc., Meals on Wheels, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, Circus Sarasota, The Hermitage Artist Retreat, The Players Theatre, Mental Health Community Centers Inc., Community Aids Network, Ringling College of Art & Design, Sarasota Ballet of Florida, Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Trust, Sarasota Opera and The Heart Gallery.
