"21 And Over"
One Popcorn
Genre; Comedy
Cast: Miles Teller, Skylar Astin, Justin Chon, Sarah Wright, Jonathon Keitz, Francois Chau
Directors: Scott Moore, Jon Lucas
Rating: R
Comment: Should be named "Under 21" for sophomoric senseless behavior.
"Jack The Giant Slayer 3D"
Two Popcorns
Genre: Action/Adventure/Fantasy
Cast: Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan McGregor
Director: Bryan Singer
Rating: PG-13
Comment: "Jack And The Bean Stalk" on acid. The grossest monster giants conceivable. Would be very frightening for kids under this PG-13 rating and just plain ridiculous for those older.
"The Lost Medallion"
Two Popcorns
Genre: Family, Action Adventure
Cast: Alex Kendrick, James Hong, Mark Dacascos, Sammi Hanratty, Billy Unger, Jansen Panettiere
Director: Bill Muir
Rating: PG
Comment: Nice family film poorly acted. Strong value message. Nice to see from Hollywood!
"Barbara"
Three Popcorns
Genre: Foreign Drama
Cast: Nina Hoss, Ronald Zehrfeld, Rainer Bock
Director: Christian Petzold
Rating: PG-13
Comment: A realistic portrayal of the oppression of the East German police state in the 80's and the impact on every day people. You will really feel the tension in their lives.
