The Catholic Charities Ball had hundreds of people in attendance dressed in fine gowns and handsome tuxes Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota. However, the guests that stood-out as the cutest were the students from Incarnation Catholic School that sang songs in the lobby of the hotel.
The students sang a handful of contemporary Christian songs. Many attendees took pictures and applauded the students before heading into the gala.
Watch the students sing one of their songs in this video clip below.
The 6th annual Forks & Corks Grand Tasting was a treat for the taste buds Sunday, Jan. 27, in the courtyard of the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art.
Food-and-wine lovers had the chance to taste the cuisine of 50 local Sarasota-Manatee Originals restaurants, and drink nearly 400 award-winning wines from more than 80 international winemakers throughout the afternoon. Those who attended the sold-out event are already preparing to buy their tickets for next year’s Grand Tasting, which go on sale Nov. 11, 2013 at www.freshoriginals.com.
