St. Stephen’s is currently ranked No. 1 in the Florida High School Athletic Association’s Class 2A Academic Team Champion standings after the fall season.
The FHSAA accumulates grade-point averages for all of the team and individual sports. After the fall season, St. Stephen’s ranked No. 1 in Class 2A, which included a No. 1 ranking in boys golf (3.865), a No. 2 ranking in football (3.242) and a No. 4 ranking in boys cross-country (3.811).
"We are first and foremost a college prep school,” athletic director Carlos Boothby said. “That being said, with the success that we had on the field this fall, this shows that you can be successful both on the field and in the classroom. I couldn't be any prouder of our kids, coaches and faculty. This is a great accomplishment."
