The Lakewood Ranch High girls soccer team dominated Sarasota in a non-district game Dec. 10, defeating the Lady Sailors 6-1.
The Lady Mustangs recorded 29 shots in the game. Kristen Hagaman, Taylor Salmon, Kaitlyn Wolfe, Sarah Wolfe, Aubrey Riggins and Kristen Zarrella each scored a goal for Lakewood. Goal keeper Katherine Somodi recorded three saves on the night.
With the win, the Lady Mustangs improve their record to 9-0-1. Lakewood will return to district action at 6 p.m., tonight at St. Pete Lakewood.
