The Out-of-Door Academy football team closed out its regular season with a 49-42 victory over The Villages tonight.
With the win, the Thunder improve their record to 9-1.
ODA will carry its eight-game winning streak into next Friday's Class 1B-Region 3 semifinals. The Thunder will play host to District 5 runner-up Admiral Farragut. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

East County resident and local attorney Patricia Petruff, a senior partner of the Dye, Deitrich, Petruff & St. Paul law firm in Bradenton, has been awarded the 2014 William C. Grimes Award for Lifetime Achievement in Community Service.
